After Wine Spectator and the guides, Gentleman crowns the Sassicaia 2015 the best red wine in Italy

Already on the top of the world, n. 1 in the "Top 100" 2018 of Wine Spectator, one of the most influential ranking of the wine industry, and awarded with the highest awards by most of the wine guides of the Belpaese, Sassicaia 2015, icon label of Italy, signed by the Tenuta San Guido of the family Incisa della Rocchetta, will also be the best red wine of Italy according to the special ranking that the magazine Gentleman, the monthly magazine of Class Editori, draws up every year by crossing the votes of the 2019 editions of the main Italian guides (Bibenda di Fis-Fondazione Italiana Sommelier, Guida Essenziale ai Vini d'Italia di Doctor Wine Daniele Cernilli, Vini d'Italia del Gambero Rosso, Vitae dell'Ais-Associazione Italiana Sommelier, I Vini di Veronelli and Luca Maroni), standardizing the different scales of judgement used. To complete the ranking of the top 100 red wines, on newsstands tomorrow, according to the previews collected by WineNews, will be two other famous labels of the Italy of wine, namely Montiano 2016, historical wine and flagship of Falesco, the Umbrian winery of the Cotarella Family, as well as from Umbria comes the Torgiano Rosso Rubesco Riserva Vigna Monticchio 2013 by Lungarotti.
At position n. 4, the only label of the South of Italy in the top 10, the Es 2016, the Primitivo di Manduria by Gianfranco Fino. Finally, position n. 9 for the Tignanello 2015 by Marchesi Antinori, and n. 10 for the Baffonero 2016 of Rocca di Frassinello. And adding to the scores of the Italian guides the three most followed international critics (Wine Spectator, James Suckling and Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate), the first place is always Sassicaia, followed by Tignanello and I Sodi di San Niccolò.
