Milan Wine Week: The “wine districts” of Franciacorta and Oltrepò, and many tastings

This will be the very first edition of Milan Wine Week and will be held from October 7th to 14th 2018. The event will highlight the “wine districts” of Franciacorta and Oltrepò Pavese, including presentations of books and guides, the “Wine Business Forum”, “Bottiglie Aperte” and, most importantly, a myriad of wine tastings from all over Italy and for all budgets, but there will also be exclusive ones like those dedicated to the great Burgundy, Champagne and Masseto.
The project was created by Federico Gordini, and presented today in Milan. Luciano Ferraro, managing editor of Corriere della Sera and curator of the DiVini blog chaired the event committee that developed the project, which includes some of the most important popularizers and Italian wine experts, such as Daniele Cernilli, founder of the “DoctorWine” guide, Andrea Grignaffini, director of Spirito diVino and member of the ALMA scientific committee, Pier Bergonzi, deputy editor of Gazzetta dello Sport and curator of the Pop Wine ranking, Gigi Brozzoni, curator of the Guida Oro I Vini di Veronelli, and Antonio Paolini, food and wine journalist of Gambero Rosso.
