Lonely Planet: the only Italian, Piedmont, is number one world travelers’ favorite destinations

This is Piedmont, number one on the Top 10 list of Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2019, the only Italian region listed among world travelers’ favorite destinations. “Its wealth deserves to be discovered calmly, by slow tourism suitable to everyone”. It is no coincidence Slow Food was founded here as well as the University of Pollenzo, which spreads its philosophy.
