Sparkling wines confirm Official partner of the iconic ceremony (edition No. 78) which awards the best of world Tv worldwide

In the glasses of the celebrities attending the Emmy Awards No. 78 in Los Angeles, the iconic event celebrating the very best of international television, Italy Franciacorta sparkling wines once again took center stage. Franciacorta, one of the world fastest-rising wine regions, is also among Italy most sought-after wine tourism destinations. Broadcast worldwide, the Emmy Awards honored the productions, performers, and television industry professionals who distinguished themselves over the past season, including “The Pitt”, named Outstanding Drama Series; “Widow’s Bay”, awarded Outstanding Comedy Series; and “DTF St. Louis”, which won Outstanding Limited Series. Among the leading acting honors, there were those presented to Noah Wyle for “The Pitt”, Rhea Seehorn for “Pluribus”, Matthew Rhys for “Widow’s Bay” and “The Beast in Me”, Jean Smart for “Hacks”, and Sally Field for “Remarkably Bright Creatures”. The Emmy Awards are just one of the many international events featuring Italy prestigious sparkling wines. From Milan Fashion Week, which is currently bringing together the global fashion elite in Milan, to collaborations with the Michelin Guide, the Mille Miglia, and the Porsche Carrera Cup, partnerships have become the winning marketing strategy of the Consortium behind the renowned Metodo Classico denomination.
Hosted at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the Emmy Awards culminated in the iconic awards ceremony and the traditional “Governors Gala”, the exclusive reception gathering winners, nominees, and distinguished guests, watched by millions of viewers around the world. Over the years, the partnership between Franciacorta and the Emmy Awards has grown into a unique opportunity to foster dialogue between the international entertainment industry and the excellence of made in Italy. This year celebration was further enhanced by guests welcomed by Franciacorta, including Italian actress and musician Beatrice Grannò, actress and producer Marta Pozzan, American actress and producer Caylee Cowan, and celebrity makeup artist and entrepreneur Patrick Ta. The participation of these personalities, representing different yet deeply interconnected worlds, from cinema and music to beauty and contemporary culture, further strengthened the international and intercultural spirit of the partnership between Franciacorta and the Emmy Awards.
“Completing our sixth consecutive year alongside the Emmy Awards is a milestone of great significance for us - affirms Emanuele Rabotti, president of the Franciacorta Consortium - this partnership has enabled us to connect with some of the leading figures in the international entertainment industry and to share, through Franciacorta, an Italian vision built on quality, culture, hospitality, and lifestyle. Our presence at the Emmy Awards, together with the events we organized in Los Angeles, confirms the growing international relevance of our denomination and the strength of the message it represents around the world”. Franciacorta presence in California continued with the Franciacorta Festival, an event dedicated to trade professionals, journalists, and wine enthusiasts, created to showcase the many expressions of the denomination and further strengthen the bond between Franciacorta and the U.S. Market.
Although Franciacorta is a young and relatively small denomination - 19 municipalities and more than 3,300 hectares of vineyards - it has become in just a few years a benchmark for quality in Italian sparkling wine production. With 20 million bottles produced annually, more than 17% destined for export, exports having grown by +130% over the last 15 years, particularly to Switzerland, the United States, Japan, and Germany, while Italy remains the largest market by volume, the denomination generates an estimated annual turnover of 500 million euros.
