“Gaja, has no price, and it is not for sale”

Gaja, one of Italy most renowned, respected and prestigious wineries, as well as one of the global flagship names of Italian wine, has denied rumors suggesting the sale of its wineries and of Gaja Distribuzione to an international group. “The story is false: it is nothing more than a barroom rumor. There has never been any negotiation with potential buyers. We have received proposals, many of them, but we have never entered into negotiations. Gaja has no price because it is not for sale”. The family also reaffirmed “its commitment to ensuring generational continuity and carrying forward the family legacy into the future”.
