"AMAZON" THE WORLDWIDE E-COMMERCE GIANT, IS READY TO LAUNCH IN THE UNITED STATES, ACCORDING TO RUMOURS FROM "WALL STREET JOURNAL", FOOD PRODUCTS FROM COFFEE TO PASTA, WITH THEIR LOGO, AND ARE LOOKING FOR PRODUCER PARTNERS

The food business is huge, and tempts everyone, even the worldwide e-commerce giant Amazon that, in the US, according to rumors published by the "Wall Street Journal", would be ready to launch food from coffee to pasta with its trademark, and is looking for partners among producers. Amazon already sells some products with its own brand, such as cables and batteries, but the move to the food industry is even more ambitious.

In the footsteps of traditional shops, says the most famous business newspaper in the world, Amazon wants to expand its brand name line of products to food, household cleaners and other daily use products.
Early last month, Amazon asked brand protection for at least two dozen categories: coffee, soups, pasta, water, vitamins, dog food and household items such as razors and cleaning products. To launch this operation, the Seattle giant was seeking partners among food producers, such as "TreeHouse Foods", one of the largest in the US totaling 3 billion US dollars in sales in 2014.

The goods will most likely be sold through the "Amazon Fresh" service, which is currently available in the US only in some areas, like Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. The company strategy is increasingly aggressive towards other platforms for e-commerce and traditional stores. A few days ago, Amazon announced that it would make free "same day" deliveries in 14 US cities to members of its loyalty program. You order by noon and you receive it at your house by nine o'clock in the evening...
