"HONG KONG'S FINEST ITALIAN WINE AUCTION" HELD ON MAY 25TH IN THE CITY CONSIDERED THE WORLD THE WORLD CAPITAL OF WINE AUCTIONS, BY ZACHYS AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN COLLABORATION WITH VINITALY INTERNATIONAL. DREAM WINES

Three bottles of rare Bertani Acinatico, vintage 1928 at 12.000 dollars; six "3-liters" of Angelo Gaja’s Costa Russi, Sorì San Lorenzo and Sorì Tildin at 6.500 dollars; 18 bottles of Antinori’s Solaia at 4.600 dollars, as well as 48 bottles of Giuseppe Mascarello’s Barolo Santo Stefano (2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 vintages) and 18 bottles of Barolo Riserva Borgogno at 3.600 dollars: these are some of the top lots at the "Hong Kong's Finest Italian Wine Auction" on May 25th, in the city that is now the world capital of wine auctions, conducted by Zachys, and for the first time in collaboration with Vinitaly International.
There are many gems in the catalog: Biondi Santi Brunello di Montalcino Reserves (1985-1998), miniverticals of Sagrantino di Montefalco 25 Years Caprai (2003-2008) and Giuseppe Mascarello’s Barolo Santo Stefano (2005-2008). But, there are also large formats such as 18 liters of Frescobaldi’s 2007 Mormoreto, or 9 liters of Vigna Apparita 2005 Castello di Ama. And for those who may not be in Hong Kong, they can follow the auction and place bids on line.
