GMOs, THE MINISTER ZAIA TODAY PUBLICLY SIGNED THE DECREE TO STOP CULTIVATIONS

“It is an important moment for Italian citizens and farmers and it is right and just to share it, even in its formal documents. We do not want GMOs in our fields and on our tables and we are determined to let our voices be heard. As promised, less than 24 hours after the Seeds Commission decision, I will sign the decree to stop cultivations: this means another step forward in defense of our identity”. The Minister of Agriculture Luca Zaia, today, at 4 pm, has publicly signed the decree blocking GM crops, after the unanimous decision of the Commission to deny permission to cultivate a GM corn seed.
