TUSCANY IS THE QUEEN OF WINE RESORTS: 65 TOP RESORTS IN ITS WINE TERRITORIES IDENTIFIED BY THE CENTER FOR PROMOTION OF TUSCANY. AND IT IS ONE OF THE TOP REGIONS FOR LUXURY AND SUPER LUXURY IN ITALY

Tuscany is the queen of wine resorts for the wine tourism experience and is the region with the most offers in Italy. The Centre for Tourist Studies of Toscana Promozione, which recently got together buyers and producers from around the world, totalling a turnover of 225 million Euros, has identified 65 top wine resorts in Tuscany.
The offer satisfies the high end of the wine tourism phenomenon, which in Italy now yields 5 billion euros and 87% of the tourists from abroad, mainly: 20% from Germany, 8% the U.S. and 2% from Asian countries. These numbers are significant but, according to experts, they are only 20% of the potential of this segment. It’s good news, however, for one of the regions that is a symbol of Italian wine and follows the "election" of Tuscany as the best European destination for millions of wine lovers all over the world, who voted in the "Travelers' Choice Wine Destinations Awards" on the famous TripAdvisor site.
