It is a journey to discover the emerging surf culture in Italy, which is intertwined, inevitably, with the strength of the traditions and the beauty of the Mediterranean coast that over the centuries have welcomed travelers and civilizations who have left a testimony of ancient beauty and craftsmanship, in the land where the two symbols of Mare Nostrum reign, wine and oil. This is the summary of the adventure, or better yet the vision, narrated by Jason Baffa in "Bella Vita".
The film portrays the pilgrimage of Chris Del Moro, American artist, surfer and environmentalist in the land of his origin (Italy, of course), who explores the culture where Old World traditions of craftsmanship and agriculture have given rise to destinations in a modern surf tradition. "It is the story of an adventure in a land of beauty where family means everything, where traditions are respected and the new generation forges ahead", says the trailer of the film, shot on 35mm, and will make its public debut on September 22nd at the "San Sebastian Film Festival", one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals in the world.
