In 2020 Italy will enter the Standing Committee on Wine with France and Spain

“Our Country will soon be part of the standing advisory Committee on wine, composed by France and Spain. At a time where it’s easier to be divided than sit together around a table, it’s about a happy chapter in the wine policy of the three leading producing Countries. In our opinion, France, Italy and Spain have much more in common than something that can separate them . It is absolutely positive that all this can have a place and space with the standing Commette, where they can discuss and deal with common themes, as the market’s performance, the supply management, and the production containment, as well as a common policy on issues of the future Pac”. That’s how Ruenza Santandrea, wine coordinator of Alleanza Cooperative Agroalimentari, comments on the enlargement to Italy , since 2020, of the Standing Commitee on Wine, in which have taken part , since 2017, France and Spain’s administrations and trade associations of the wine sector.
“The entry of Italy in the standing committee will allow- continues Santandrea- to extend the work of comparison and continuous dialogue of the three countries to the national administrations. We are convinced that together we can find solutions more effectively to common problems . As an Italian cooperative organization, we invested in relations with Franch and Spanish cooperators in recent years. It is no accident that Alleanza Cooperative Agroalimentari is committed in Barcelona with colleagues of French and Spanish wine cooperative organizations, to handle the new Pac, consumptions and production , during the “Jornada Sectorial Vitivinicola” organized by Cooperativas agroalimentarias of Spain.
