Lorenzo Accomasso, historic producer of Barolo, awarded FIVI Winemaker 2019

Lorenzo Accomasso is a winemaker in the Piedmont region. He anticipated, by at least fifty years, the current MGAs, placing the crus “delle Rocche” and “delle Rocchette” of La Morra on the label of his Barolos, starting in 1958. He is also Knight of the Republic, and the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers (FIVI) has now awarded him Winemaker of the Year 2019. He will receive the prize, in honor of Leonildo Pieropan, at the Wine Market event in Piacenza from November 23rd to 25th, where 626 Independent Winegrowers from all over Italy will participate.
