COUNT CAMILLO BENSO DI CAVOUR’S VINEYARD IS A SYMBOL IN ITALY AND IS MAKING A COMEBACK WITH DOCG BAROLO, PRODUCED FOR THE BOTTARI LATTES FOUNDATION TO PROMOTE THE TERRITORY

Count Camillo Benso di Cavour was the first president of Italy’s Council of Ministers and his vineyard is a symbol of Italy. Today, thanks to the Wine School in Alba, it has made a comeback with Barolo DOCG, produced for the Bottari Lattes Foundation, with the goal of promoting the area and the vineyard itself, which surrounds the Castle of Grinzane Cavour.

The Bottari Lattes Foundation, which supports culture and art in the name and figure of the painter, writer and editor Mario Lattes, will involve the students of the Wine School in its cultural initiatives in the area. The Foundation will schedule guided tours of the Cavour vineyard, while the Wine School will provide its premises and equipment as well as technical and professional support for the events the two associations have organized.

Starting from vintage 2010 Barolo DOCG will be dedicated to the works of Mario Lattes, and will be offered to guests and the public during cultural, artistic and musical events promoted by the Monfortese Organization.
