The 2027 “Manifesto” of the Wine Cities

A road that connects wine with the landscape shaped by vineyards on the hills and leads to a small rural village and the community that produced it: the image of the Italian regions where great wines are born, as seen through the eyes of young people, is clear, direct, and colorful, as in the work created by graphic design student Sara Riccioni of the Andrea Scotton High School in Breganze, a land of DOC wines made from the Vespaiola grape, whose symbol is the Torcolato passito - and where wine has been produced for millennia - which the Città del Vino association has chosen as its 2027 “Manifesto”. The association brings together Italy’s municipalities with the strongest winemaking traditions.
The wide variety and high quality of the entries submitted to the contest organized annually by Città del Vino, explains President Angelo Radica, “demonstrates how important it is to offer young people opportunities to express their creativity and, at the same time, to gain a deeper understanding of the regions, traditions, and culture of wine”.
Sara’s school will receive a prize of 700 euros to purchase educational materials, recognizing the talent of its students and reaffirming the school’s role in promoting Italy’s wine and landscape heritage through education and creativity.
