“La Liste” 2019, the guide that crosses the restaurant guides of the world

Guide season never ends. Now, in the world of restaurants, comes the 2019 edition of “La Liste”, a sort of “guidebook” that collects the opinions of more than 550 guides and publications (among those considered most reliable according to the opinion asked of thousands of chefs in the world), converted into cents, with the final score calculated through the online reviews of customers, “giving them a weighting of 10% in the final score,” explains “La Liste”.
At the top, with a score of 99.75, is Guy Savoy of Paris, on an equal merit with Le Bernardin, in New York, ahead of Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, with 99.50, same score as Martín Berasategui in Lasarte, Spain, and Matsukawa in Minato-ku, one of the districts of Tokyo, Japan.
The first of the Italians is Le Calandre di Rubano of the Alajmo family at no. 18, in front of Dal Pescatore of Canneto sull’Oglio of the Santini family, at no. 30. Position no. 34 for the Osteria Francescana in Modena by Massimo Bottura, followed, at no. 39, by La Pergola del Rome Cavalieri by Heinz Beck. At number 54 there is Don Alfonso 1890 of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi by Ernesto Iaccarino, followed at number 60 by Da Vittorio of Brusaporto by the Cerea brothers, and by Uliassi of Senigallia by Mauro Uliassi, fresh with a third Michelin star, at number 73. At no. 92 there is Casa Vissani by Gianfranco and Luca Vissani, in Baschi, and the Italians among the first 100 become 9 if we also consider the 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana di Hong Kong by Umberto Bombana, the only 3-star Michelin outside the borders of Italy. Just outside the top 100 positions are two other big names in Italian restaurants, the Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, by Giorgio and Annie Feolde, at number 106, and Piazza Duomo in Alba by Enrico Crippa (with the Ceretto family) at number 107.
