ONE CLICK WILL TAKE YOU TO THE BAROLO AND BRUNELLO VINEYARDS. GOOGLE’S "STREET VIEW" AND COLDIRETTI SHOW 5 OF THE MOST FAMOUS ICONIC WINE PRODUCING LANDSCAPES, INCLUDING MAREMMA, CASTELLUCCIO PLATEAU OF NORCIA AND THE ORANGE GROVES IN SICILY.

One click wherever you are at any time takes you to the vineyards of Barolo and Brunello. Google, in partnership with the Association of Italian Farmers Coldiretti, use "Street View", the super clicked Google Maps evolution that allows you to explore the world through panoramic and spectacular 360-degree photos, to show five Italian iconic landscapes, known worldwide for their unique local products.

One click and you can virtually walk through some of the most beautiful and famous areas in Italy: along the slopes of the Langhe of Barolo, Unesco World Heritage Site, immersed in the wild and unspoiled nature of the Maremma; up the Montalcino hill in rows of Brunello, also a Unesco World Heritage; fly over the spectacular Castelluccio Plateau to admire (in
Spring) the flowering of lentils, and then finally walk among the orange groves in Sicily. The only thing you have to do is make sure you stay connected. Consortia and tourist offices can instead use special collections of "Street View", on their sites to help promote the excellence of their territories.

This is one more way that Google continues its efforts of supporting Made in Italy and Italian excellence, said the promoters by bringing five new online special collections that you can visit immediately on "Street View."
"This special collection of Street View”, explained Giorgia Abeltino, in charge of Google Italy Institutional Relations and Regulatory Affairs, “has been developed in a broader process that Google has undertaken for the past three years to bring companies to the Made in Italy network and its great economic potential and export. The future of Made in Italy”, she added, “is being more and more open to international markets and digital can play an important role in this process by enhancing the excellence of Italian tradition. The internet can be an important factor in economic development when it comes to landscapes that testify to the close connection between production and territory of origin”.
“The strength of Made in Italy comes from the distinctive characteristics that give our country a strong identity,” said the Coldiretti national youth delegate, Maria Letizia Gardonie, “and its uniqueness. The landscapes are one of them: from the Langhe to Sicily, Italy is an icon of beauty par excellence and the cradle of knowledge and traditions that make our agricultural food production competitive also on the international scene. Coldiretti has always been the interpreter of the capabilities of our country that are synonymous with excellence. It is giving positive feedback in terms of employment and economics to a country in deep crisis, but that can find redemption if it bets on its national strategic assets: territory, culture and food”.
