PRIMITIVE MANDURIA ES 2013 BY GIANFRANCO FINO IS THE BEST ITALIAN RED WINE, THEN TORGIANO RESERVE RUBESCO VINEYARD MONTICCHIO 2010 BY LUNGAROTTI, AND SASSICAIA 2012 TENUTA SAN GUIDO, TOP 100 RANKING OF THE MILANO FINANZA MAGAZINE “GENTLEMAN”

Primitivo Manduria Es 2013 by Gianfranco Fino is the best Italian red wine, followed by Torgiano Riserva Rubesco Vigna Monticchio 2010 by Lungarotti and Sassicaia 2012 Tenuta San Guido, on the traditional “ Top 100” ranking of the Milano Finanza magazine “Gentleman” (Milano Finanza), edition 2016, that compiled the data from the top Italian wine guides (Gambero Rosso, Bibenda-Fondazione Italiana Sommelier, L’Espresso, Veronelli, Doctor Wine - Daniele Cernilli, Luca Maroni and Vitae - Associazione Italiana Sommelier).

Antinori’s Solaia 2012 is second on the “Top 10” list, followed by Duemani 2012 by Duemani, San Leonardo 2010 Tenuta San Leonardo, I Sodi di San Niccolò, 2011 Castellare di Castellina, Nobile di Montepulciano Il Nocio 2011 Poderi Boscarelli, Grattamacco 2012 Grattamacco (ColleMassari Group) and Lupicaia 2011 Castello del Terriccio. The monthly magazine took Wine Spectator and the critic Robert Parker's scores in hundredths for this particular ranking, adding them together, when available, to the total.
Therefore, Sassicaia 2012 is in first place, followed by I Sodi di San Niccolò, and Galatrona 2012 Fattoria Petrolo, followed by Oreno 2012 Tenuta Sette Ponti, Tignanello 2012 Antinori, Grattamacco 2012, Guado al Tasso 2012, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Sergio Zingarelli 2011 Rocca delle Macìe, Brunello di Montalcino 2010 Il Poggione, and Barolo La Rosa 2011 Fontanafredda.
