THE ITALIAN OLYMPIC HEADQUARTERS CELEBRATES WITH FONTANAFREDDA

The Castello del Valentino in Turin is the official headquarters of ‘Casa Italia’, the Italian Olympic team, and athletes and organizers inaugurated the center by toasting flutes of Asti Fontanafredda (the historic company in Serralunga d’Alba owned by the MPS Tenimenti Group). The total supply of Fontanafredda for the Turin 2006 games equals about 250,000 bottles. With a collaboration between Fontanafredda, Piedmont Region and Paniere of Typical Products from the Province of Turin, the “P food & wine” event was created in honor of the games. It is an over 700 square meter space within the Piedmont Region Palace in Turin that includes wine bars and a gourmet restaurant, all offering various gastronomic encounters and events during the Olympic games.
