Jacopo Biondi Santi, a famous name in the Italian wine world - his family is merited with the invention of Brunello at the end of the 1800’s - is ready to jump into new professional challenges? According to rumors that have been circulating for days now in the wine sector, the entrepreneur has already resigned as president of Biondi Santi Spa in order to dedicate himself to his estate in the Maremma, Castello di Montepò (also the property of his wife, Francesca Tagliabue). Besides the Castello di Montepò estate - which is a magnificent 500 hectare property in the Maremma that includes 60 hectares of vineyards and is dominated by the most fascinating castle in Tuscany, inside which Morellino di Scansano and other prestigious Supertuscans like Schidione are produced - Jacopo Biondi Santi may also dedicate himself to a consulting career in the wine sector.
