THE MOST APPETIZING WINERIES FOR ENOTOURISTS? ACCORDING TO THE NEW GUIDE “LE DIMORE DI BACCO”, THEY ARE PLANETA, VENICA, BERLUCCHI, DONNAFUGATA, ZONIN

The Sicilian winery Planeta, Venica in Friuli, Guido Berlucchi in Lombardy, another Sicilian Donnafugata, Librandi in Calabria, Les Cretes in Val D’Aosta, Tenuta Bonzara in Emilia, Cantina di Soave in the Veneto, and Illuminati in Abruzzo are the 10 most appetizing wineries for enotourists according to the new Città del Vino guide “Le Dimore di Bacco” (The Dwellings of Bacchus).
The guide also provides a “palatability” classification of the regions of Italy: the Veneto gets the top vote (45), then Tuscany (34), Lombardy (27), followed closely by Piedmont, Abruzzo and Sicily. Authors Cinzia Tosetti and Carlo Ravanello, both food sector journalists, hope the guide will be a helpful tool to get better acquainted with the territory’s different wineries.
