BOSSI FEDERIGOTTI FROM THE TRENTINO REGION AND MASI FROM THE VENETO JOIN IN PARTNERSHIP. THE TWO COMPANIES HAVE AGREED ON COMPANY MANAGEMENT AND COMMERCIALIZATION. ALL OF THE DETAILS OF THE ACCORD BETWEEN THE HISTORIC FAMILY AND SANDRO BOSCAINI

Two stories that started over a century ago and are of great prestige for Italian viticulture have now joined forces with a production and commercialization agreement created by Masi Agricola of Valpolicella and Conti Bossi Fedrigotti of Rovereto. Two stories, but also two current and significant realities because the Bossi Fedrigotti company (working for over 300 years in the wine business) was the first to introduce Bordolese blend to Italy with the Fojaneghe wine, and is still today a company that puts a series of prestigious wines of the Trentino region on the market. The Masi group, on the other hand, is renowned for the great red wine, Amarone, exported to over 65 countries on every continent.
The accord – which is being followed professionally by the Monti di Rovereto and the Alberti di Verona studios – foresees the technical assistance in the vineyards and wineries of Maso San Giorgio of Bossi Fedrigotti by Masi technicians. The Veronese group, as well, will open up the Giampaolo family (Isabella and Maria Josè Bossi Fedrigotti) winery for use as well as its commercial, marketing, and image abroad facilities.
“With this relationship, or the request of a professional contribution by Masi” – explained Maria Josè Bossi Fedrigotti – “we are aiming towards conservation, in a globalized world that is in rapid evolution, of a patrimony of tradition, of professionalism and of the culture of wine that is precisely part of the historic families and which cannot be entrusted solely to the laudable works of cooperation that are widespread throughout the Trentino region. With this partnership we are also aiming towards consolidating our presence on the world markets”.
“The goals of Bossi Fedrigotti” explained Masi president, Sandro Boscaini – “are in full synchrony with our operator. We are adding our tried professionalism without denting the identity and originality of our partner. This is demonstrated, among other things, by our over twenty year history with the Conti Serego Alighieri family of Gargagnano. The proposal by the Bossi Fedrigotti family, therefore, coincides with our company development plans. A plan that foresees the creation of a pole of small, excellent and noble wine companies from the Triveneto area in order to put them in harmony with the equally successful Masi Group. All done along the same lines as the concepts that brought to light, on a cultural level as well, first the creation of the ‘Premio Civiltà Veneto’ and now the creation of the Masi Foundation, headed by journalist Demetrio Volcic”.
