TWENTY-FIVE SOMMELIERS FOR THE ITALIAN ANTI-FRAUD POLICE UNIT (NAC): A “REFINING” COURSE FOR THE DEPARTMENT THAT ENFORCES EU FOOD AND AGRICULTURE NORMS

After an ad hoc master’s program at “Ais Roma”, twenty-five police officers from the Italian Anti-Fraud Unit (NAC) will become professionally certified sommeliers.
This unit, which is directly responsible for enforcing European Community food and agricultural codes, requires constant updating, specialization, and professionalism, thus, a course in wine tasting to help better protect and defend consumers and honest operators of the wine sector.
