"One Sip After Another" by Anna Maria Volpato, "Crooked Symmetries" by Maria Dolores Di Baia, "Ink" by Antonio Menna: these are the three stories chosen from the over 1,700 that were received for the competition, “Read in a Sip”, organized by the Santa Margherita winery. These are the stories that will now be printed on “Side B” of the winery’s top labels: Pinot Grigio, Muller Thurgau Frizzante, and Chardonnay Trentino.
The labels will include an unedited version of the three stories that were chosen by an impressive jury (Fabrizio Carrera, Daniele Cernilli, Giovanni Franco, Enzo Vizzari, Giulia Maldifassi, Alberto Rollo, Paolo Soraci from Feltrinelli, Alessandro Alì from Santa Margherita, and presided over by Ranieri Polese, culture journalist and correspondent for ‘Corriere della Sera’).
There were also three important names in Italian literature who participated (out of competition) in the 2007 edition of the literary event: Simonetta Agnello Hornby, Pino Cacucci e Michele Serra.
