VERONA CELBRATES “PRIMAVERA DEL NOVELLO” IN NOVEMBER: DEBLOCAGE FOR ITALY’S NEW WINE IS SET FOR NOVEMBER 4TH AND THE FESTIVITIES WILL BEGIN RIGHT AFTER ON 5 AND 6 NOVEMBER. THE EVENT IS CONDUCTED BY VERONAFIERE

The event celebrating Italy’s Vino Novello (new wine) is moving to the prestigious Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona this year after having celebrated its past 20 editions in Vicenza.
The event will coincide with the déblocage of Novello (midnight on November 4th) on the 5th and 6th of November with an exposition that includes all of the producers of the “first fruits” of the 2008 harvest, along with tastings, conventions and encounters between sector operators.

Veronafiere, the organizer of the event, has already planned a promotional campaign with “an image that is fresh and full of promise, that adapts well to the vivacity of Novello, a wine rich in fruity bouquets, and which pleasantly contrasts the autumnal season”.

Thus, the re-launching of Novello will now begin in Verona, already the indisputable capital of Italian wine.
