THE DUEMILAVINI GUIDE CELEBRATES 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY BY CHOOSING ITS FAVORITE 30 WINES FROM AMONG THE 319 THAT HAVE RECEIVED THE TOP “CINQUE GRAPPOLI” (FIVE GRAPE CLUSTER) SCORE

For the tenth anniversary of the Duemilavini wine guide, Bibenda has decided to create a special selection of wines by picking 30 of its favorite labels from among the 319 wines that the guide has already awarded its top score of “5 grappoli” (five grape clusters). According to the guide, the 30 labels that were chosen are the gems of the Italian wine sector and are those that truly express the cultural history behind these wines. Franco Ricci, head of Bibenda, which is the company that produces the guide, pointed out that, “there are many guides that, in Italy and abroad, create classifications with improbable and arbitrary measures… reaching conclusions of dubious plausibility”. Bibenda, on the other hand, “is one of the most sold wine guides in Italy and Europe”, and is confident of its credibility in its evaluations due to years of hard and independent work by its professional collaborators.
