THE BEST CHOCOLATE IN THE WORLD IS ITALIAN. AMEDEI WINS THE COVETED GOLDEN BEAR AWARD

The best chocolate in the world is the Italian brand Amedei. The artisan chocolate makers from Tuscany, with their “9” chocolate, which is a blend of 9 different types of cacao, recently won the Golden Bear Award for the best chocolate.

The award, considered the equivalent of an Oscar in the world of chocolate, was decided by 25 judges made up of the top experts of the chocolate sector. A total of 400 companies were in competition for the coveted award.

Amedei was founded by brother and sister Alessio and Cecilia Tessieri and named after maternal grandmother Vendica Amedei. The artisan chocolate shop located in La Rotta (Pontedera-Pisa) counts twenty employees.
