Montepulciano’s Vino Nobile, along with its outstanding cuisine and art makes it the fourth European city preferred by tourists, says the “Traveler’s Choice Award”, the recent International rankings compiled by Trip Advisor, the most clicked travel web-community in the world. Montepulciano, in the “top 25” cities of Europe, was the most voted by travelers, after the three other wine tourism sanctuaries: Florence (first), Siena (second) and Bordeaux, capital of French wine (third).
The motivations of the rankings left no doubt: “Montepulciano is known for the richness of its vineyards from which one of the finest Italian red wines, Vino Nobile is produced. The excellence achieved by this extraordinary red wine has also been confirmed recently in a survey organized by the Consortium of Vino Nobile, which shows that local identity, top recognition and excellent quality / price ratio are the reasons that prompt consumers to buy the wines of Montepulciano.
