ART & WINE - THE ART CRITIC SGARBI: “SINCE THE PERFECTION OF MICHELANGELO, DONATELLO AND LEONARDO, ART HAS GOTTEN WORSE OVER TIME AND IS NOW EXPERIENCING A PERIOD OF DECLINE. WINE ON THE CONTRARY, THANKS TO TECHNOLOGIES AND TECHNIQUES, HAS IMPROVED”

Since the perfection of Bellini, Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo, art has deteriorated over time and is now experiencing a period of decline. Wine, on the contrary, thanks to technology and techniques, has improved and there is still a surprising amount of room for growth”, said Vittorio Sgarbi, art critic and member of the Italian Parliament, at Vinitaly yesterday while presenting the labels designed by Franco Matticchio for the winery the “La Murola” of Urbisaglia (Macerata).
