CHEFS TODAY ARE JUST AS FAMOUS AS SOCCER PLAYERS AND THEY CAN THANK A "CERTAIN" PAUL BOCUSE WHO HAS EARNED MICHELIN’S "THREE STARS" FIFTY YEARS RUNNING, AND THUNDERS: “IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER IF CHEFS TODAY WENT BACK TO THE KITCHEN”

Chefs today enjoy the same popularity as singers and football players, and at least in part, it is thanks to a "certain" Paul Bocuse, one of the stars of that extraordinary culinary movement of Great French Cuisine known as the "nouvelle cuisine" revolution. Bocuse is celebrating an incredible record, 50 consecutive years of three Michelin stars, which his historic restaurant, Auberge du Pont de Collonges, immersed in the countryside a few kilometers north of Lyon conquered starting in 1965. The 89-year-old Bocuse said, “Here I can find all the great wines and the best ingredients, so I never felt the need to go elsewhere”.
The kitchen is the place to be, where instead, many chefs spend too little time: “I made chefs feel proud of their profession, I took them out of their kitchens, and gave them visibility, but today”, clucked the great French chef, “ they would do much better to go back into the kitchen”.
