It is not yet commercially available, yet the hype of the 2015 vintage of Brunello di Montalcino, one of the world’s leading lights of Italian wine, is already very high: The “guilt” of James Suckling, an illustrious name in international wine criticism and a guru followed by wine lovers from all over Asia, who crowned Siro Pacenti’s Brunello di Montalcino Vecchia Vigne 2015 as “Wine of the Year 2019”, among the highest expressions of a territory capable of putting in a row as many as eleven 100/100, starting with the single vineyard of the winery led by Giancarlo Pacenti, which James Suckling called “the perfect example of what makes the Brunello di Montalcino 2015 so irresistible, both to buy and to drink: Siro Pacenti has the “wow” factor and I think we can consider it the best young Brunello I’ve ever tasted in 40 years “.
