If you think social networks are little more than a hobby, that create interest but not a service to companies, you will soon have to think again. “Vin65”, an American company, leader in web management for wineries, especially anything that has to do with e-commerce, has launched a truly innovative app for e-commerce on Facebook: just click “like” on the winery you choose and you’ll get a list of their wines and the chance to buy them in the blink of an eye, without changing the page or leaving Facebook. Some might turn up their noses and say there is nothing revolutionary about this, but reality says different: Facebook has 800 million users, which are online an average of 55 minutes per day, second only to the TV. It is a window always open on the world, a virtual marketplace in which hundreds of virtual wineries could soon “open”. Simplicity will not be only the prerogative of the consumer, though, since all the technical tools will be provided to manage orders and understand the real weight of the possibilities the app offers.
