Anga-Confagricoltura, the super stages abroad among the vineyards in Australia and in the ranch USA

Young farmers and students of agriculture will have the opportunity to enrich their curriculum and their knowledge of foreign agriculture directly in the field, among the Australian vineyards and in the U.S. ranches: comes the super stage abroad, signed by Anga-Confagricoltura, the association that brings together young members of the federation of Italian farmers. Among the requirements, only knowledge of the English language, and have certified practice in the primary sector; for Australia, an age of at least 30 years is required, while for the U.S. is enough to 21 years. An opportunity, therefore, extended to a large proportion of young people, including those enrolled in the faculties of Agriculture, Forestry and Oenology, who with the Young Farmers will have the opportunity to harvest in the Australian Barossa Valley, Limestone Coast, Mount Lofty Ranges, Riverland, Clare Valley, McLaren Vale, along with other well-known wine regions, while in the U.S., there are training courses in all areas of agriculture: For winemakers, the Californian experience can range from Sonoma to Napa Valley, Oregon, particularly Willamette Valley with its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, or in the state of Washington famous for the production of fine wines. “In addition to wine - explains Francesco Mastrandrea, president of Anga - there are many opportunities, from large pig farms to ranches, applied research on fruit trees, but also forestry programs and management of forest resources, in collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service”.
