Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, the grandson of the last King of Italy, has embarked upon a number of careers, from showman to entrepreneur in the worlds of fashion and cinema. But, if history had taken a different course, now he would be the King of the Sixth World Economy. Instead, since he is fallen royalty, he has reinvented himself and become Prince of Pasta, at least in Los Angeles where, in his food truck "Prince of Venice" he cooks and sells fresh pasta dishes in traditional Italian style.

The food truck business is a well-established and widely beloved formula, and the Prince is taking orecchiette with turnip tops, ravioli with butter, tortellini and short penne pasta on his truck around the streets of the city of California. He is apparently having some success among the inhabitants of the City of Angels, literally in love with the Prince and his artisanal creations...
