There are many and the most diverse types of pairings of wine and music, but this one, which crosses the border from music into the world of wine accessories, where creativity has invented many cult objects, was perhaps unthinkable. "Horn" is the first musical decanter in the world, invented by Riedel, the famous brand of glasses and decanters that has revolutionized the market.
The name and the shape ("horn") were inspired by the symbol of the Austrian Postal Service, to celebrate the bond between Riedel and Austria (info: www.riedel.com). It really is not just a decanter to decant and serve wine, but also a musical instrument.

How does it work? The crystal was mouth blown without molds and the master glassblowers created two openings at the ends of the decanter. The larger to pour the wine from the bottle into the glass decanter, while the smallest, complete with a mouthpiece to blow inside and play the traditional sound of the postal horn.

The decanter was created to celebrate to the history of the Riedel family in Central Europe, namely Austria and Bohemia.
