Italian cuisine is the most loved around the planet, Spanish cuisine in the last 20 years has probably been the most influential, but the greatest chefs have given the crown to French cuisine. This is the verdict of the "Les 100 Chefs" ranking, which the French magazine "Le Chef" created by asking the 552 chefs around the world that boast two and three Michelin stars to choose, according to them, which of their colleagues best carry out the values of the profession and create the not to be missed cuisine.
Well, not only 7 chefs in the "top 10" are French, including the first two, Michel Troisgros of the Maison Troisgros and Yannick Alleno of Alleno Paris, but overall there are 41 French chefs in the ranking. The first of the non-French chefs, in third place, is the Spaniard Joan Roca of El Celler de Can Roca.
The first chef of the 9 Italians is Enrico Crippa of Piazza Duomo in Alba, for the first time in the top 10 (https://goo.gl/isvCiX).
The other chefs representing Italy are Massimo Bottura of Osteria Francescana in Modena at number 17, Massimiliano Alaimo of Le Calandre in Rubano at number 28, Nadia Santini of Dal Pescatore in Canneto sull'Oglio at 28, Niko Romito of Reale in Rivisondoli at 46, Heinz Beck of Cavalieri La Pergola in Rome at 89, as well as Stefano Baiocco of Villa Feltrinelli in Gargano at 92, Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini, in the kitchen at Il Luogo di Aimo and Nadia in Milan, at 93, and Chicco Cerea of Da Vittoria Restaurant in Brusaporto, at number 96.
