VINITALY 2010 IN VERONA FROM 8-12 APRIL. ACCORDING TO THE WINE TASTERS ORGANIZATION CHINA IS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER: ANOTHER PLAN TO PROMOTE THE CULTURE OF WINE IN PEKING

Thanks to the agreement with the Chinese Ministry of Health, the National Organization of Wine Tasters (ONAV) has been engaged by the Beida University in Beijing to train operators in the wine field: restaurateurs, wine store owners and agents, aiming to promote and spread the culture Italian wine to the future professionals in the wine sector in China. This is the most important news from ONAV, led by Giorgio Calabrese, one of the most famous names in Italian medicine who will be at the Vinitaly Show in Verona from 8 to 12 April and will present wine tasting courses and initiatives to divulge quality wine (info: www.onav.it).
The National Organization of Wine Tasters (ONAV) in China will be hold the first course from 20 to 25 June in Beijing and will give birth to the first ONAV tasters in the country of the Great Wall. “This shows that in China wine speaks Italian,” said President Giorgio Calabrese, “and that the world is evolving: globalization is a reality we eat and the Chinese will learn the Mediterranean diet, and a reality we drink, so the Chinese will learn about wine.”
