”Thank to the Masi Wine Experience, Masi has created an innovative interactive experience at the Wine Discover Museum of Tenuta Canova (between Lake Garda and Valpolicella, at the bottom of the Monte Baldo, ed.), enriching the offer of the area around Verona and demonstrating the company’s commitment to the dissemination of Italian winemaking culture”. For this reason, the historic wine brand, the symbol of the Veneto region, has once again received the Best of Wine Tourism Award 2019, the international recognition promoted by the Great Wine Capitals network to the companies from all over the world that provides an original and quality wine tourism offer.
In collaboration with Masi Agricola, the Great Wine Capitals award Château Smith Haut-Lafitte in Bordeaux for their tour of their“Art and Vine” sculpture collection, Les Celliers de Sion in Lausanne with its Wine Tourism Centre with spectacular views of the Rhone Valley, and Gut Leben am Morstein in Mainz, Rheinhessen, which hosts top-class cultural events that attract large numbers of visitors. Furthermore, there is the Austrian d’Arenberg, at McLaren Vale in Adelaide, with the iconic Arenberg Cube, inspired by the challenges of winemaking, La Rioja Wine Train, an original“theatrical” train journey through the vineyards of the Spanish region, and the historic The House of Sandeman Hostel and Suites in Porto, the world’s first Branded Hostel.
The award goes to St. Supéry Estate Vineyards, a 100% sustainable company in Napa Valley, Casa Vigil in Mendoza, which offers visitors an original experience of wine and literature, inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, and Casa Mirador Casas del Bosque Winery in Valparaíso in the Casablanca Valley, built in perfect harmony with the environment, on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards where the sea breezes of the Pacific Ocean arrive.
