ANTONIO GALLONI (AMERICAN JOURNALIST OF ITALIAN ORIGIN) TO BE THE NEW ITALIAN REFERENCE FOR ROBERT PARKER. WILL TAKE THE PLACE OF DANIEL THOMASES

Antonio Galloni, American journalist of Italian origin, will be the new reference in Italy for Robert Parker, one of the most famous wine critics in the world. Galloni will be covering Italian wines for “The Wine Advocate” newsletter. The announcement was recently published in the Piedmont Report (www.piedontreport.com) and the English magazine Decanter. It was also noted that Galloni will be taking the place of Daniel Thomases, another American journalist who has been a long-time resident in Italy, and who, since 2003, has covered Italian wines for “The Wine Advocate”, the popular publication by Robert Parker that boasts over 40,000 subscribers world wide.
