THE TOP 24 WINES OF THE MORELLI WINE GROUP CATALOG, ONE OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS AND LARGEST AMERICAN RETAILERS WORLDWIDE

Italian wine is going strong in the retail business in the United States. Being listed in the catalog published by the Morelli Wine Group – considered one of the most prestigious wine retailers, located in the heart of Manhattan at the Rockefeller Center – is truly an important success for any winery in the world…
And the list this year includes 24 Italian companies. The selection was chosen by the experts from Morelli, who sampled thousands of different brands and types of wines from all over the globe. The 24 Italian wines that were chosen include reds, whites, and super-reds.
The 8 white wines that are listed include: Cervaro della Sala 2001 Marchesi Antinori; Gavi Christoforo 2003 Stefano Massone; Pinot Grigio 2003 Dorigo; Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico 2001 Bucci; Arneis Blange 2002 Bruno Ceretto; Grechetto Grecante 2003 Arnaldo Caprai; Anthilia 2003 Donnafugata, and Pinot Grigio 2003 Santi.
The red wine category includes 9 wines: Campaccio 2001 Terrabianca; Barolo Zonchera 2000 Bruno Ceretto; Prima Voce 2002 Tenuta di Arceno; Chianti Classico l’Aura 2002 Querceto di Castellina; Rosso di Montalcino 2002 Lisini; Villa Antinori Rosso 2001 Antinori; Eremo 2002 Fontanafredda; Barbera d’Alba 2002 Giovanni Manzone, and Dolcetto di Dogliani 2002 Luigi Einaudi.
And there are 7 wines in the super-red category: Guado
al Tasso 2001 Antinori; Amarone della Valpolicella Bosan 1997 Cesari; Luce 2001 di Frescobaldi; Serpico 2001 Feudi di San Gregorio; Ardingo Calbello 2001 Andrea Costanti; Litra 1998 Santa Anastasia, and Monferrato Pin 2001 di La Spinetta.
