From Piedmont to Apulia, from Tuscany to Veneto, from Friuli Venezia Giulia to Liguria, from Falanghina to Vermentino, from Pinot Grigio to Sangiovese, from Barbera to Aglianico, one of the great strengths of Italian wine is the ability to express a wide variety of interesting wines, thanks to the many territories and varieties planted in the Peninsula, and also with a strong relationship between quality and price. An evidence that emerges, once again, in the international rankings, as reported by the “Top 100 Values” 2018 of “Wine Spectator”, which selected 100 wines from those tasted by the wine-tasters of the American magazine, judged at least with 88 points out of 100, with a maximum price of $ 20, and produced in significant quantities. Not a real ranking, but a list, divided by style and type, with 16 labels selected from the production of the Belpaese, especially among the reds.
