WINE & TRENDS - "SOIF DE COEUR": THE WINE THAT HAS CAUGHT THE HEARTS OF FRENCH SINGLES

A wine that promises to those who buy it that they will meet their soul mate… Riding the wave of countless web sites dedicated to singles in search of their soul mates, a new and ambitious project has begun in France which perfectly coincides with the latest trends of post-industrial society, connecting the virtual world to passion for wine.
The project is actually very simple. All it takes is the acquisition of one of the 350,000 bottles of participating wine companies (Monoprix, Systémes U, Leclerc, Carrefour, Champion, Auschan, Score and Jumb) on sale in French supermarkets, while making sure to buy the right color label (blue for men and pink for women). Once the bottle has been bought the label can be checked for a code to be inserted on the site www.soifdecoeur.com "Soif de Coeur", or, rather “Thirst of the heart”.
The price for a potential encounter is truly economical: each bottle costs about 3 euros. And there are three types of wine that are offered: a cabernet sauvignon and merlot blend red, a rosé of the same blend, and a white sauvignon.
