At the beginning of 2010 a huge campaign will begin to re-launch the Friulano wine from the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The region will have 10 million euros at its disposition to promote this historic wine that was once called Tocai but for denomination issues, has now been forced to be renamed Friulano.
