Italian food and agriculture exports earn a total 9.2 billion euros per year announced the Minister of Agriculture Luca Zaia during the International Food Fair (Sial) held recently in Italy.
“The results that have been reached in food and agriculture exports” – noted the Minister – “give reason to the efforts and the work of the government and many Italian entrepreneurs. Italy, with its 174 certified quality products and a volume of affairs that reach 9.2 billion euros, will continue to construct its politics of development for the sector, weighing heavily on the quality and safety of its food and agriculture production, synonymous with good taste and healthiness in every corner of the planet. With 50 billion euros, over one third of the total value of European agriculture is earned by Italy and France who, together, occupy a quarter of the agricultural land used in the EU. A liaison that has been created by the land and that we work to reinforce, with the common goal of presenting ourselves as united at the ‘CAP Health Check’ appointment.
