“It’s a secret, but one of my dreams is to produce wine. I’ll keep it for personal use before putting it on the market, though. In Var, where I live in the southeast of France, people are very interested in producing rosé, but I like red wine”, says Johnny Depp, the American actor who will soon be on the screen in cinemas around the world as the legendary “ Mad Hatter” in Tim Burton’s “ Alice in Wonderland”.

”France has given me everything,” he confessed to the French magazine VSD, “a wonderful family and at the same time the balance of what I was missing. Vanessa (the French actress Vanessa Paradise, ed) the children and I live in a sort of village in southern France and I have the impression of being in Paradise. Our property is about 15 hectares and you know what I’m doing over there? Absolutely nothing!” He also stated that he isn’t able to stay away from “the property for more than three months”.
