Banfi receives prestigious TASTEVIN by rail 2020 Vitae of AIS … With the Brunello di Montalcino Poggio alle Mura Reserve in 2013  receiving the  four screws  of  Vitae in 2020 , the leadership of ' Italian Association of Sommeliers, Banfi receives prestigious  TASTEVIN , the award recognizes a narrow sunny circle twenty-two companies, one for each Italian region. Cristiano Cini, President of AIS Toscana , during the awards ceremony, said: “It 'recognition to the great work done by Banfi, since its inception, in and to the territory of Montalcino, as well as for its flagship wine, Brunello. A work carried out with perseverance and great attention to the values of sustainability in all its aspects, from the environmental to the social and economic.” That sustainability is a subject very dear to Banfi who, during the round table of Friday, October 18, organized for the presentation of the fourth number of the Sustainability Report for the year 2018, took the opportunity to discuss the evolving sustainable, in 'optics of a share with the entire territory, for a growing common understanding if the Sustainability Report can be a key tool to promote the area. An important recognition for the company to Montalcino and the Mariani family, just a few months ago, he received the award “Wine Family of the Year” at the Meininger Award for “Excellence in Wine & Spirit” in Düsseldorf. On stage, together with the President of AIS Italy, Antonello Maietta, President of AIS Toscana and the Head of the guide to Tuscany, Leonardo Taddei, presented the award at the hands of Cristina Mariani-May, representing the third owner family generation Banfi the Clerk of Winenews, Alessandro Regoli. Cristina Mariani-May, said: “I am very honored and proud to be here today to withdraw this prestigious award. A recognition of our commitment and our love for the territory of Montalcino.
