THE CURIOSITY

Quentin Tarantino, from “spaghetti western” to spaghetti made in Italy and great Italian wine

Roman dinner for the director, in the starry Terrazza Aroma. With a view of the Colosseum, and in the glass great reds, such us the “king” Barolo

From the passion for Sergio Leone and the “spaghetti western” to the passion for spaghetti made in Italy on the plate and the great Italian wine in the glass, from the love for a cult film like “Once Upon a Time in the West ” by the “maestro” to the Roman launch of his “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ”: the presentation of Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, one of the most eclectic, multifaceted and discussed directors in the world (with a bit of Italian blood, since his father, Tony Tarantino, came from Campania), which chose the starred restaurant La Terrazza Aroma, led by chef Giuseppe Di Iorio, overlooking the Colosseum, to toast to the presentation of his latest work. In the glasses, as WineNews heard, great labels of red wines from Italy, including the “king” Barolo, paired with a great classic of Italian cuisine, spaghetti with tomato and basil, and then an international touch, Japanese Kobe beef. And a final toast, always in the name of Italy, with another superstar of American cinema but of Italian origin, Leonardo Di Caprio, among the protagonists of the film along with Brad Pitt. For a fragment of a Roman “dolce vita” that returns, also thanks to the Italian cuisine and wine.
