The Marchese Piero Antinori, president of Marchesi Antinori, one of the most historic and renowned Tuscan names in wine, received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” 2007 for his fundamental and continuous contribution to the evolution of viticulture towards ever higher levels of excellence. The recognition by the Masters of Wine Institute (the English institution that includes the most authoritative wine experts in the world) and Drink Business (the British economic magazine dedicated to the food and beverage sector), was given at Vinexpo, the most important French wine expo, taking place this week in Bordeaux.
