“WINE OF PEACE” CELEBRATES 20 YEARS WITH EVENT IN GRADO: A UNIQUE OCCASION FOR WINE ENTHUSIASTS TO ENJOY AN EXCLUSIVE TASTING OF SOME OF THE WINE’S BEST YEARS TOGETHER WITH AN EXHIBITION OF ITS BEST LABELS CREATED BY WORLD RENOWNED ARTISTS

The “Vino della Pace” (Wine of Peace) by the Cantina Produttori Cormòns company, reunites all of the flavors of the earth in one bottle, and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Two decades ago the producers at Cormòns (www.cormons.com) had the idea of creating a vineyard with all of the different grape varieties on earth, which they fondly call the “Vigna del Mondo” (World Vineyard). Today the exclusive wine that is produced from these vineyards is even further embellished with labels designed by world renowned artists.
The varieties in this vineyard include such foreign names as, Syrah, Tulilah, Shurrebe, Pedral, Maizy, and closer to home, Marzemino, Terrano, Merlot, Gamay, Ucelut. In all, almost 600 types of grapes make up the “Vigna del Mondo”. The celebrations for the 20th anniversary will be a unique occasion for wine enthusiasts, during which they will be able to participate in an exceptional tasting of some of the best years of the “Vino della Pace”, normally sent solely to heads of states and other important world figures. The last few reservations for the May 18 event located at the Hotel Savoy of Grado are still available (reservation@hotelsavoy-grado.it).
And on the same day of the event, the Hotel Savoy, in collaboration with Cormòns, will inaugurate an exhibition of some of the most precious labels that have been designed by 60 different artists from around the world.
Within in the enchanting setting of the Grado lagoon, such artists as Zoran Music, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Enrico Baj, Dietman, Minguzzi, Fiume, Consagra, Celiberti, Manzù, Sassu, Finì, Vedova, Anderle, Rauschenberg, Corneille, Treccani, Nagasawa, Tadini, Ceroli, even Dario Fo and Yoko Ono, along with many others, can be admired.
